Meet our Advisors
Multifactor is honored to be supported by a world-class team of advisors whose expertise spans augmented reality, artificial intelligence, computer security, complex systems modeling, and deep-technology entrepreneurship. Their collective experience and insights are invaluable as we navigate the challenges of building the secure, zero-trust infrastructure for the emerging agentic web. In this post, we are excited to introduce you to the advisors who are guiding us on this journey, and want to extend a sincere thank you to our advisors for their time, trust, and commitment to our vision. Their guidance is a key part of our commitment to building the most secure and innovative solutions for the future of AI and digital identity.

Louis Rosenberg, Ph.D.
Dr. Rosenberg is one of the world's most recognized pioneers in augmented reality, virtual reality, and artificial intelligence and his guidance is essential as we build the security layer for the agentic web. Louis's foundational work includes developing one of the first augmented reality systems at the Air Force Research Laboratory and founding Immersion Corporation, which brought haptic feedback to the mainstream. Previously, his research that pioneered the Immersion Corporation and role as CEO brought the company public. Today, as the CEO of Unanimous A.I., he is a leader in "Artificial Swarm Intelligence," a field that directly parallels our mission by focusing on managing the collective, emergent behavior of networked groups. His deep, career-spanning experience in new human-computer interfaces, combined with his vocal expertise on the risks and promise of AI and AR, makes him an invaluable advisor.

Martina & Philip Welkhoff
Dr. Welkhoff brings elite expertise in modeling and managing complex, high-stakes systems. Philip leads the Malaria program at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and also heads its Institute for Disease Modeling (IDM), where his teams build sophisticated computer simulations to guide global disease eradication strategies. This experience in modeling dynamic, large-scale systems parallels our mission of securely managing the interactions of AI agents. Philip's deep technical background, including a Ph.D. in applied and computational mathematics from Princeton and research into models for neural decision-making, gives him a fundamental understanding of the challenges we are solving. As a fellow Hertz Fellow with our CEO Vivek Nair, Philip shares our DNA of applying deep, first-principles research to solve foundational problems, and we are grateful to have his guidance.
As the Co-founder and Managing Partner of the WXR Fund, Martina is an expert investor in the next generation of spatial computing (AR/VR/AI), giving her a direct view of the exact future Multifactor is being built to secure. Her perspective as a two-time founder is equally valuable. She previously founded Zealyst, an enterprise platform that collected data on employee engagement, and ConveneVR, a social VR company. Martina was drawn to VR because she saw it as an entirely "new computing platform", which aligns perfectly with our mission to build the foundational trust and security layer for the agentic web. Martina’s dual experience as a frontier-tech investor and a hands-on enterprise founder gives her a unique perspective on product, market, and mission.

Dawn Song, Ph.D.
Dr. Song, as a Professor of Computer Science at UC Berkeley and a recipient of the MacArthur Fellowship, is one of the world's foremost authorities on computer security as well as AI safety and security. Her core research in applied cryptography, distributed systems security, and the intersection of machine learning and security aligns perfectly with our mission. Multifactor is building the zero-trust, post-quantum foundation for the agentic web, and Dawn's expertise in securing the very point where AI and systems meet is invaluable. Likewise, Dawn is also the founder of Oasis Labs which is building novel privacy technology for collaboration, analytics, and AI that parallels our own missions of secure account sharing and AI account use. Dr. Song has also contributed directly to the research efforts of Multifactor including, but not limited to, the Multi-Factor Key Derivation Function. Her involvement provides a profound validation of our deep-tech, research-driven approach, and we are thrilled to have her guidance.

Padma & Mohan Warrior
Mohan brings an invaluable perspective forged from a career in scaling global, deep-technology operations. He spent 15 years at Motorola Semiconductors (now Freescale), where he demonstrated his operational expertise by managing silicon wafer fabrication and ultimately leading the 3,500-person global test and assembly operations. His experience in managing complex, mission-critical hardware and semiconductor supply chains gives him a rare and fundamental understanding of the challenges in building and scaling the kind of deep, research-driven technology that Multifactor is also aiming for. After Motorola, Mohan proved his entrepreneurial leadership as a two-time startup CEO, serving as president and CEO of Alfalight and Nanocoolers. This unique blend of elite corporate operational scaling and hands-on "zero-to-one" startup experience makes him an ideal guide for us as we build a resilient, global company for the agentic web.
As we build the secure, zero-trust infrastructure for the new "agentic web," Padmasree's entire career is a direct parallel to our mission. She is a renowned technology executive and entrepreneur, currently serving as the Founder and CEO of Fable, an AI discovery platform, as a board member for both Microsoft and Spotify, and previously as a board member for Gap and Box. Her experience as the former CEO of NIO U.S. is invaluable, as she was responsible for the "brains" and user experience of autonomous electric vehicles—a perfect analogue for the secure, autonomous AI agents Multifactor is empowering. Furthermore, her legendary tenure as the Chief Technology & Strategy Officer at Cisco, where she led corporate strategy and M&A, and as the CTO of Motorola, gives her an unparalleled understanding of scaling deep, mission-critical technology platforms. Her unique combination of expertise in autonomy, AI platforms, and deep infrastructure security is a massive asset to our team.

Judy Savitskaya, Ph.D.
Dr. Savitskaya brings deep, dual-domain expertise in both frontier technology and venture capital. She currently serves as the Diligence Lead for Frontier Carbon Removal at Stripe, where she evaluates and supports cutting-edge, high-stakes technologies, following her time as an investment partner at Andreessen Horowitz (a16z). This experience gives her an elite perspective on building and scaling category-defining, venture-backed companies. Judy’s academic background, with a PhD from Berkeley and a BS in biology and computer science from CMU, provides an incredibly unique perspective to our advisory board. Her core interest in "engineering biology in a way that’s as scalable and modular as writing code" is a powerful parallel to what we are building: the secure, scalable, and modular protocol for the agentic web. Her experience in mathematical modeling and simulation gives her a fundamental appreciation for our deep, research-driven cryptographic foundation, and we are grateful for her guidance. The time she spent at a16z and her role at the Hertz Foundation angel syndicate provides valuable insight for us as we navigate venture funding and seek to connect with other entrepreneurs in our industry.

Max Kleiman-Weiner, Ph.D.
As the co-founder and CEO of Common Sense Machines, Dr. Kleiman-Weiner is at the forefront of building AI that can understand and model the 3D world, a mission that requires deep innovation in AI. His background is a perfect fit for Multifactor, as his PhD in Computational Cognitive Science from MIT focused on "reverse-engineering human social intelligence" by integrating Bayesian models, multi-agent planning algorithms, and game theory. This unique expertise in how autonomous agents learn, cooperate, and make decisions is directly applicable to our work in building the secure, zero-trust framework for a multi-agent future. A fellow Hertz Fellow like our co-founder Vivek, Max shares our DNA of using deep, formal research to solve foundational problems, and his dual experience as a scientist and founder (also co-founding Diffeo) makes his guidance invaluable.
